Welcome to Revo Lab

About Revo Lab

At Revo Lab, we are dedicated to be the connect traditional Engineering disciplines such as Aerospace, Mechanical and Electrical & Electronics, with software digitalisation especially AI. We believe applying AI to Engineering will generate a lot of potential, and we created a platform dedicated for research into this field.

Background

AI for Engineering, is a rapid emerging field of research, in which artificial intelligence (AI) techniques are integrated with engineering, physics, etc. Under this background, almost skyrocket growth in research trends in the field of aeronautics and aerospace engineering can clearly be observed.

Aerospace

Aerospace engineering is a realm composed with rich amounts of different knowledge criterion, with fluid mechanics (aerodynamic design & optimization, study of specific flow fields etc.) and flight mechanics (aerodynamic identification, flight control system design etc.) been the two major parts.


In this realm, the author, our candidate team has a comprehensive knowledge in aerodynamic design, numerical approaches for fluid problems, especially for compressible fluid and hypersonic flow field. Also, a rich experience in aerodynamic design, with almost all the members has been, or being the member of one of the UCLR (UCL Racing) team.

Research

At Revo Lab, we are dedicated to advancing knowledge and understanding through research. Throught student lead research projects, we creates an enviroment where students with good fundemental knowledge can be innovative.

Industry Connections

Collaborating with advanced companies from industries including IC Design, Fluid Mechanics and Computation Providers allows our members to gain better insight of market trend, provides internship opportunities and funding.

Student Diversity

Starting out in UCL, we will branch out to other universities to collaorate.
